Also potentially important to note that the deal was written up on 12/30. Like the auto industry, month end matters. The TK is a pricey bike and not one that flies out the door as compared to most. Timing must have been stellar and , who knows, this buyer may have had a longstanding relationship with the dealer. I bought a TK last November and ended up at $25k with a good deal of work to be done ( parts, detach kit, etc..). I was trading a 10 SG and was treated very well, I thought. Like an earlier post said, it isn't the worst thing to do business with a dealer you like and trust. Without that, a great deal get get nasty really fast when things go wrong. Good for him. Nice to see someone get a great bargain. Also a great bike.
Yes my buddy and I both believe that timing had a part in this
No we do not know the owner or manager
No we didn't have any relationship with this dealer before this deal
It's just that we literally stopped by and in 1 hour this deal was in front of my buddy
For those that don't believe that's fine, I can do no more to convince you nor do I care to
The point I try to make is only this, anyone looking to buy a 2012 ltd use this price as a point of information, a goal to tie, to beat whatever
My buddy loves his new bike and this is what he paid if you're looking for a similar one then if you can use this price to help you negotiate then this post serves a purpose
Trust me when I say this, I called my local dealer with this price to see if it was real or not he told me it was real and very lean at only $900 profit, but they could do it if needed, that's when we knew it was real
I live in Naples, FL. I would definately ride to Orlando for this deal. I'm looking at the Teq sunrise/orange two tone. I'm calling that dealer today to see what they say. If they make me that deal, I'll be on the road this afternoon. Does you buddy have a salemans name?
Naples dealer is giving me a bit more for my trade and about 1000 in gift cards. They want 1200 freight and setup, is that high? Seems to be to me. They are working off MSRP and I haven't tried any negotiating yet because I wanted to do my homework first. I'm sure they will stick close to MSRP claiming the color is hard to find.

All of the information on his purchase including the salesman and his phone number are located in the original thread
Good luck with your purchase, not sure how much they will do over the phone, but since you already know what the deal is maybe they will make it worth your time to drive
I live in South FL. The salesman Glen doesn't work there anymore. I talked to Alan. He claimed only expect $1000.00 off MSRP due to bike week coming up. Of course I wasn't there to "work" a deal.
He also said end of year, anything could happen. I believe the guy got the deal and the invoice is real. I however don't want to wait till Dec 30th to buy a bike. I want to ride a new one to bike week this year!! Don't know how much I'll get off.
Hoping for $2000.00 off MSRP plus 20% off parts and free install. No freight and setup.
Not looking at the limited anymore. I think the "wow" factor of the tequilla sunrise color will wear off. Looking at ember sunglow Ultra.
Everyone of you US consumers buying Harleys should be thankful to get 1000 dollars of and 20 percent off parts and have them installed no charge. In Canada we have a monopoly on Harleys and deeley Canada controls all the pricing. MSRP is what to expect here. 27,000 plus tax for a vivid black LTD and you may get 10 percent off parts. deeley canada knows that they will sell there alotted bikes for Canada and by controlling the price they insure that Harley canada is profitable. In the US harley does not control its dealer network so anything is possible. selling one bike at a stupid price does not mean anyone else will ever get close to that again no matter what the date is. I would also assume that if Harley USA hears that their LTD sold for that price they would not be too happy. I would have fired the salesman and the manager for allowing that price out in the market. not good for anyone. Enjoy your great prices while you can my Amercian brothers. ride safe
