Put some Belray 30wt fork oil in my 2000 Dyna WG and loved it... thinking of doing same with my 2011 RKC or at least 20wt.

just throwing it out there to see what wt works best for others?

Most guys use SE performance fork oil, which i believe is 15wt. Thats what i use and it did well. Haven't heard many go any heavier.

yeah, not many heavyweights here when it comes to fork oil as I was somewhat skeptical until I tried it, (30wt) better turning... no dive stops, nice tight feel up front.,
kinda like the feeling when you put new shocks on a cage.

i like the se heavy (not the race). don't remember off the top of my head what weight that translates to, but it's pretty firm, but not overly so.

Ran across this the other day, found it to be an interesting read. Fork oils aren't all they're labeled to be. Didn't see the Harley brand on the list.

I went with Lucas 15W synthetic on the Ultra, and for me it was a nice improvement over what they put in at the factory.

I have been using Spectro 40wt fork oil in my trike. Trikes have a lot of nose dive with the added push of the trike kit. I love how the front end doesnt nose dive if I have to suddenly brake hard with the front brakes.

The first couple hundred miles the forks seem stiff but settle in and work great aftwards

I just did a change out of my lower fork tubes and was told to put 30wt. I might have just filled it with sand. I'm running Bel-Ray 7 wt and I think it's perfect
