Just found out from my dealer today my stage 4 kit is on back order until June. Was looking at the Fuel Moto 107 kit real hard before I pulled the trigger on the SE kit. Don't know if I want to wait until June. Does anyone have any thoughts on the fuel moto kit. I Have a 2011 ultra classic with 96" stock engine.
That Stage IV kit is a nice package, but you're better off going with something else that makes more power. I've never seen any impressive dyno sheets from that setup.
Thanks for the input now I better see if I can get my money back from my dealer before I get excited about the FM 107 kit. Im hoping I can, starting to feel like its a good thing it's back ordered.
I think it's a tough choice. The stage IV kit gets you heads and cylinders outright, you can sell your old jugs and heads to recoup part of the cost. The FM kit (assuming you spring for head porting) is for re-working your existing parts. The stage IV kit also includes a SE Super Tuner and a SE 58mm throttle body and SE clutch spring. The FM kit includes woods lifters, the stage IV kit doesn't include lifters (that I recall, anyway). I actually think the stage IV kit is a better bargain, if you buy it through Lakeshore for 2K.
Go with the FuelMoto 107, you'll thank me later. It's like getting a brand new bike. Also have them to the Level B headwork. Went from making about 72 HP out of my 96 cu. in. to 114 HP 126 TQ. Thats with a D&D fatcat 2-1 also. Just my

You wont be unhappy that's for sure! I also had the 107 port and polish and the stock headers and Bassani slips. Still pulled 110hp and 121 tq bike is supper nasty.
I am going 106 once I wear this 96 out. More cubes means more potential. I like the S&S kit but Jamie and fuel MOTO have a top notch rep and from what I have seen in the forum his customer service can't be beat. I think the 107 is money well spent. Jmo
