Well, the mounting hardware is pretty simple; ether fixed, limited adjustment (up & down), or fully adjustable.
The footpegs are as varied as there are manufacturers.
Personally, I prefer for the footboards, highway pegs, passenger pegs, brake & shifter pads to match. But that is just me.
I went with the HD "Streamliner" design because the footboard & passenger pegs were that design already.
Yep I'm the same--maybe its an OCD thing but I like all my pegs to match as well---but being the cheap bastard I am--I went to e-way and found a complete set of old Hog logo-ed stuff--bought em all separate--rider floorboard inserts rear passenger highway pegs and a brake pad cover for less then 130 bucks total. people ask oh a "Hog Member huh?" tell em "nope--I thought they looked cool and I'm a cheap bastard"
my inseam is slightly shorter than yours, i use the long angled. allows me to keep my heels on the floorboards, and put my toes on the highway pegs. about the same posture as if you had forward controls.
