Default cable lengths

hey guys, tried a search didn't get a definitive answer. Anyone know what lengths I would need for 14" Outlawz on a Road Glide? I am thinking around a +6 or +8

Gawd, ya gotta luv it 68 views and no answer or even a hint. Try LA Choppers and speaking with Chucky or Chuckie (don't know how he spells it). Very informative person and very friendly to talk with.

Yeah, it seems to be hard to get answers on this one. The best I can say is probably +8, but I have a RK. No one wants to give a straight answer. Mainly because everyone measures their bars differently. Johnny at hdbikeparts.com wanted exact measurements of the bars to place an order. I'll be going through him for that reason.

I went to the P&A catalog to get the actual lengths of my stock cables, then mocked up the bars and measured out how much more I was going to need to move my controls to the new location. Knowing the actual lengths, rather than just a plus number helps if you're shopping eBay. I wound up going plus 6 on clutch and brakes for Yaffe 12" monkey bars

thanks guys.....as far as calling LA Chopers or anywhere else, I would feel like an *** if I called them and didn't order throught them. I want to get the Magnum Shielding Black Pearls, not sure if they carry them. I didn't see them on the LAC site or hdbikeparts. Johnny Vaughn is awesome though. He is the one I went through for the apes on my Crossbones.

Here's another question, with ABS, do you have to change all the pieces for the front brakes or just the upper?
