I was kinda disappointed with them today. I called and spoke to a nice lady. Asked if I could just find out what my order status was. She asked for my order number then said shed check with shipping. 5 mins on hold, she comes back and says she can't find a tracking number and she's not 100% sure if my stuff went out yet. So she tells me she will call me back AND email me with a tracking number when she figured it out today.
Well guess what? NO call or EMAIL. Surprise surprise.
I ordered my stuff (1094 dollars worth) on Friday morning march 2nd. So they are def NOT fast shippers for me. 7 days later and no info on my stuff. Kinda bullshh@t if u ask me. If there was a problem or a back order or whatever, I'd like to know. Unprofessional to say they call me back and not do so.
Frustrated now.
But low joe has your back......doesn't he? I wonder if he EVER ordered anything from DHP.
DHP is in Ca. For me it is fast shipping being in Wa. Fri. Morning order Sat. Tracking number Tues. Parts on door step. I AM NOT knocking Eastern Performance but for me they are slow shipping. Just pointing out location plays with shipping times.
I guess I had better clarify my post a little. I too live in Western Washington. It would have definitely been faster shipping if the parts were in stock. Since the parts were back-ordered & they were waiting to receive them that's what held up the shipping.
If I had just went to my local dealer & purchased them I could have had them the same day. Of course I probably would have paid 30%+ for that luxury. I guess the point I'm trying to get across is if you wanna save a bunch of money, you may have to wait. It costs money to sit on inventory.
With that being said, there's no excuse for poor customer service. Luckily for both of us I didn't experience that....
yeah it just nice to know whats going on and where ur money has went and where the stuff is... i wouldnt have been upset or frustrated even if the stuff was backordered or whatever.its all about communication. when u see people posting that they get the shipment email and recieve stuff in couple days, it makes u wonder what was wrong with ur own order. its reassuring to know its on its way...so its all working out....gotta get a few more parts and my stunt harley will be done
Here's feedback from my most recent DHP purchase.
- 3/9 placed order for Redline Powerpack
- 3/9 received "Order Process" email shortly after placing order
- 3/12 received "Order Update" email saying order processed.
- 3/13 received "Order Update" email with UPS tracking information.
- 3/13 received The Powerpack from UPS
So it took 5 days to get my Powerpack and I received 2 email communications updating the status of the order. Pretty solid in my book.
This is my 4th order with DHP and all the previous orders went off without a hitch too, and the DHP prices are/were great. I'll continue to use DHP.
I'm not too happy with them. I ordered some stuff on Monday over the phone, they were supposed to call me back in 10 minutes and give me the total price. The next day I called them and spoke to Frank (again) he said he would call right back, he never did. Today is the 3rd day and I still do not know how much the order will cost. If they don't call by tomorrow morning I'm going to cancel the order. I don't care if they are cheaper, you would never know it if they can't even give you a price. I would rather pay full price and get what I ordered. Three days with my credit card info and not even a price qoute, *uc* em.
