I just installed 14" Monkey Bars with TBW extensions. Now I get a check engine light on and the dealer says the codes are related to the TBW. It runs and idles fine though, so I don't think I got the wires installed wrong. I'm wondering it it just needs to be recalibrated because of the wire extensions. Has anyone experienced this?

Did you do any soldering or the extensions reached fine?
you got a TBW issue. Most likely a short/break in one or more of the 6 wires going to the plug. I just went thru the same issue when I did my BR Custom bars. one of the wires broke at the male plug end and I found it by wiggling the wires and one felt loose., took the plug apart again (this time in faring as I buttoned everything up of course before testing everything) soldered the wire back together and cleared codes, all good now. My guess is a broken wire (check the ends 1st) or you got the red/white/yellow wires in the wrong position (yellow sheathed wires from TBW go to the position with the little wings on the plug, black sheathed wires go to the other side of the plug.
check this link http://harleytalking.com/showthread....handlebars-101 to make sure you have the wires in the correct position, then check for breaks/shorts. you could also try and hook up the old TBW unit and see if the codes go away. last, clear the codes and see if they come back, you may be still be showing historical codes and not current codes.
FWIW, my throttle was acting fine, full rev range but still throwing codes.
