Default Why won't this lowering kit work on a FLHRC?

Does it have something to do with the angle of the shock interfering with the saddlebag bracket/mount once kit is installed?
listing states will work on all other Road Kings except for the RKC's??

The problem is that the shock cut outs in the back of the Classic leather bags don't have any "play" in them. What happens with this lowering kit is that the shock angle changes slightly and the new angle won't fit into the shock cut out in the leather bag on the classic. If you look on the back of your bags, you'll see what I'm talking about. Hard bags, on the other hand, have more room for the shock angle so that's why this kit will work on other Road Kings.

Not exactly true. I know the LA Choppers lowering blocks will fit a Road King Classic. I had them on my 07 with Leather saddlebags with no problems at all. The Street Glide shocks I had on my RKC do slightly touch the leather bags at the lower mount. I had no problems at all in 6000 miles of riding with them.

LA Choppers does not list them as fitting a RKC but they will.

No. Actually you are correct. The blocks move the shocks a couple millimeters closer to the leather bags. The lower part of the air shocks, the rubber cover actually does touch the saddlebag, not the lowering block. I was about to correct my post above. the blocks change the angle of the shock a couple of millimeters also.

I looked at several of the lowering blocks before I decided on the LA Choppers blocks.

tell you what if you want to try these. PayPal me the flat rate USPS shipping cost and if they fit and you like them you can pay me the rest via PayPal. if you don't like them, send them back to me and you owe me nothing. They are just sitting in my spare parts bin doing nothing now.

Those lowering blocks will end up causing damage to your bike, as in the wiring and fender. Here is a better set up, although more costly.
