Why won't this lowering kit work on a FLHRC?

I was looking at a lowering kit for my Road King and just decided to buy a used set of FLHX shocks. If you put the FLHX shocks on you won't have any worries about parts hitting or rubbing, the ride will be better as well. Plus you have your original shocks to throw back on at anytime if you prefer, or you can sell them and essentially make this upgrade practically free. There are plenty of shocks out there. Check out the classifieds forum. I bought mine from the Bagger Concepts company in Texas. That guy mods a lot of bikes and usually has a healthy stock of FLHX shocks sitting around.
