So when I had my RKC and even with my EG Ultra I could not ride more then 10 feet without having to kick my legs up on my highway pegs. For somwe reason keeping my feet on the floorboards just did not feel right. I am 6' with long legs so I always figured it was for that reason.
I installed the Prime Apes and have noticed the two times I have been able to take it out that I can and do ride with my feet on the floorboards, unless I am in cruising mode. It feels perfectly normal and comfortable.

I use my floorboards a lot and have my highway pegs positioned so even then I keep my heels on the floorboards, very comfortable for me.
If you get a chance shoot me a picture of that set up. Sounds interesting. I ran Stirrups on my other bike but when folded up they look like crap and get in the way of my brake foot on this bike .
