Got one on my Shovelhead past 10 years and it's great for me, comfort wise, passenger has another opinion though.

the streetglide seat can be found fairly cheap as a take off.

puts you about 1" down, 1" back.

little bumper keeps you from sliding around

mine's good for 4 hours, painful at 6

ultra seat goes on for touring.

the 2011 version has narrower nose and thicker pass pad than the 2009, 10

which is what I have. it's good value

My 05 Annv Fatboy came with a Badlander on it. IMO it was not a comfortable seat, couldnt go more than a couple hours on it with out a break. Swapped out to a Corbin and it was better, swapped to a C & C and thats the seat I model Ive used for 40,000 miles on the Fatty and almost 10,000 on the Road Glide

Love my badlander seat. I prefer a hard seat. The softer sests make my *** and legs go to sleep. Have done 600 mile days with no problem at all.

Not too bad for the rider but the passenger won't like it. The Rallyrunner is the same in front with a more padded passenger seat.

I really like my badlander, bike looks great with it. OL says it is fine for around town.

The thing about it that I did not realize would be a plus is it sits you down really low, sow you are more behind windsheild which is a great plus in cold weather. Buddy and I rode a couple of Fridays nights ago, windchill was + 1 degree, honestly I was not that cold, he was freezing and cussing me for talking him into riding.
