Several months ago I bought a Elf Audio amp and a set of Polk Audio speakers for my Street Glide. It sounded good at first but I went cheep on the speakers and now one of them is shot ! I guess I should have known better. So..... I have an Elf amp that is 2x80rms at 4 Ohms and Im looking for a better set of 4ohm speakers that will fit in my fairing. I have seen alot of good reviews about Infinity Kappa speakers but all the Kappas I have seen are 2ohm. I looking for a set of 6.5 inch coaxil speakers I can get for 150.00 or less that are 70 to 80 watts RMS each that will be better than the Polk DXI650's I skimped on the first time. Any suggestions whould be greatly appreciated and if you know a better place to buy the speakers please let me know.
Thanks
Mark
Your elf amp should 125watt per channel at 2ohm. I have one and am running 2ohm speakers off the amp. The owners manual shows the rms ratings for different ohm ratings.
