Harley rain suit ??
This is probably a stupid question so I appologize ahead of time. I bought me and my wife Harley rain suits that have fold up hoods in the neck. We are going to be taking a ride from ky to Colorado,Montana,Idaho,etc this summer with our church group. Im sure we are going to hit rain at some time. My question is does the hood go over the helmet or under it? Thanks in advance

its better to ask however, you still may get a chuckle.. I know I have ask questions in the past and when my friends bust out laughing - clue to my question.. Wasn't the first time I was laughed at and won't be the last...
I also have the hood - been in some pretty heavy rain - haven't used it as yet = however, I ride behind a full fairing and wear a full helmet...
If you ride with a 1/2 helmet it may work better..

The only stupid question is the one left unasked. I've worn mine under the helmet only. I also have ridden in heavy rain without a hood under the helmet and wished that it was there. Rain running down the back of your neck is not a pleasent feeling.

I've never used my hood. If you run with a tall windshield and a full or 3/4 helmet you should be fine. I also never considered wearing it under my helmet, as that does not sound comfortable. I just assumed it was for use if you wore the jacket while walking around.
