I put the Willie G. cover over my Arlen Ness Big Sucker. The throttle body wiring doesn't bother me!
Fuel Moto billet for me, throttle body wiring doesn't bother me, either. In fact, never heard anyone mention the wiring, got good comments on the cover.
I too didn't like the sight of the TBW plug. Thanks to people like Dawg on this forum offering solutions, I bought and installed the Throttle Body Cover 29009-08 ($19.95).
I don't let the plug bother me. Some people just like to **** on others. Don't want to deal with the TBW wire, sell your brand new bike and buy an older one. Yeah, that's a smart idea. Facts are that wire is there on newer bikes. You can either cover it, hide it, "use creative photography" or just ride the damn thing.
Lots of options on covers out there. I have the Willie G cover and I like it. Ride safe.
I went with the Performance Machine cover to match my wheels. Theyve got a ton of different designs. And its a kit to make it fitthe Big Sucker, or SE AC kit.
For those with open air cleaners what are you using for rain, or does it matter ?
I ride in the rain frequently, and never worry about it.
Picked up my round cover off ebay for about 10 bucks. It's a ball milled cover for a VW Zenith air cleaner. I've used saucepan lids and other found items in the past.
