09 Trans Pan Removal
Does anyone know if the trans pan can be removed with the trans still in the frame? I am going to work on a friends bike for a leak and it looks like the gasket may be leaking.

Thanks Dawg, I wasnt sure with the way the baffle looks per the parts manual. The guys bike Im working on has a possible munched up drain plug hole/seat and what appears to be a gasket leak.

you might have to take the rear wheel axle out and just slide the wheel back a ways (obviously remove the belt) and the pan can come back easier. you don't need to remove wheel out from the fender, just move it back
