Scale 1-10 how difficult was the build on your Chubbys. I'm going in the same direction, but I'm doing the project on my own. anything OF note to look out for.

just take your time. i did this over the course of a week. the hardest part would have been running the wires on the rt side, but now i how to do it so it should be eaiser. i started with the control wires first getting the the end all taped up just to the point were the bars incease size. i then pushed the tbw all the way threw, pulling and pushing the control wires at the same time. the cluch cable was easy, took a few to figure out the brake lines,( the new splitter doesnt have the lines in the same place as the factory does. all in all id give the a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. Just dont rush. i bought the cables and brake lines from HarleyPartsDirect.com the bars i won on ebay for 150 and i used the stock wiring. i wave all the pugs for the bars under the radio now. worked out pretty good
if you look close you can see the wires coming out of the bars. about 3" for the controls and 6-8' for the tbw.
flht2009 did you have any problems getting the fairing cap to fit snug, and the ignition plate to set flush?
i did atually. the clutch cable was getting in the way. i pulled more out on the lever side and re routed it under the regulator to take up some extra slack. pulled the rubber gasket off the bottom of the switch cover to get that on.
I want these bars so bad but I am leary about the problems with the fairing cap and the ignition plate. Why is this a problem? Surely with "Wild1" being such a reputable company, this problem is being reviewed. Or is it.....
