I've been looking at endless threads on wind deflectors. I ride a 2009 Ultra and I'm getting buffeting about 65 mph that shakes my helmet. I know the chrome wind deflectors would most likely eliminate this problem. I found a website jescustomaccents.com that sells painted or chrome wind deflectors that will fit with lowers. Anyone try these? I'm just about ready to try the Harley ones, but wanted see if anyone has tries these.
I've checked those out, but they don't make a set that will fit the Ultra with lowers yet. I talked to him a couple of months ago and I got the impression they would be available soon.

They are not an eye sore at all...GREAT DESIGN AS WELL AS QUALITY.

when it is cold I put my hd chrome fork deflectors on my ultra with lowers. they have to be bent a bit forward at the top so the fairing air vents will open. they really stop the buffeting but i think they really kill the air flow into the motor area. too bad they arent shorter. I had seen a set waterjet cut by someone years ago that are shorter and just fill the area in under the fairing to the lowers and that is where the air comes up under the fairing then up over your shoulders and smashes your ears with the wind and noise. I dont really want to cut mine but may end up doing it so I can leave them on all the time. In really hot weather 85-100 I usually leave them off and put up with the wind smashing my ears. Wish I could find the website for the guy that water jetted the shorter ones that fill in just under the fairing, I havent had any luck, think he was charging 25-30 bucks too.

Thanks! I saw your post earlier. A picture would be great. I might just invest in a pair. The ride is nice, but above 65-70 mph the wind buffeting causes my helmet to shake and I'm planning to do a 3,000 mile trip later this year. Thanks for your input!
I have an 07 FLHTC. I have the fork baffle, chrome fork deflectors, fairing mounted deflectors and the best is a Clarks Custom Windshield. My stereo volume is lower, my helmet does not buffet, my glasses stay in place, no air comes up around the gas tank. I can light a cigar with a Bic lighter at 70 mph.
