Tires and Bars
I know this subject has been beat up a bit over the last few years. When i return from deployment in several months I am looking at putting new rubber on my 07 Roadking, are the E3's still the tire of choice? I also want to put apes on her as well. I have a wide open customs fairing installed, can i use regular bars or do i need to use the bagger style bars that bend aft and up?

I'm happy with the E3's on my 07RK. I went to the wider sizes without any mods. I had to push the front tire passed the fender mounting bolts though. I have a 160/80/16 on the rear and a 150/80/16 on the front. I can't help you with the apes, I have WO508's on mine.

You NEED TIRES to get to the BAR !!!!!! 
I seroiusly looked into car tires, E3's,Mich,etc etc..
I ended up with D402 stock tires but went Blackwall , tired of cleaning WW
