I just got this e-mail today from John form Zanotti's.
"Hi ,
This is John formerly from Zanotti Motor Company. As you know, the owner has recently retired and closed the business. We have enjoyed working with him over the years and wish him the best in his retirement.
We are now excited for the next chapter in our lives as we move on to New Castle Harley Davidson. They are a Harley Davidson and Buell dealer, along with aftermarket products as well. We are excited to work alongside New Castle with their high reputation of customer service. As in the past, we will continue this honorable service and will maintain the same the internet pricing at our new location. We appreciate your past business with us and hope to continue serving you in the future.
I know a lot of guys use to swear by Zanotti's before they closed up shop and the internet orders team moved to another dealership. I haven't used them or really know where they are. If you have, please let the rest of us know your experiences.
***Disclaimer: This is strictly informational and passing along info that I received.
I live about 2 hours from that dealership, It's actually not to far from where Zanotti's was located. The only thing I ever bought there was a T-shirt. The staff seems nice, if that means anything to you. I will venture a guess that they will be every bit as good as zanotti's, especially since it's the same crew running the internet sales.
I have received the same email from them the last 2 days, was wondering the same thing. I intend to give them a try and hope it works out. I did check out the site, not a lot to talk about yet.
New Castle HD is a pretty great place....Always seemed fair and honest with people...Glad they took over....I live not far from them...Talked to them the other day and they asked for their customers to be patient with them for they are still working out all of the bugs with the transformation...
i used to buy a lot of stuff from zanotti's but in the past year, i have bought almost 100% of my online stuff from jon (pcpain on the forum here) from horny toad hd in texas. he has consistently beat them on the prices, and shipping has been 1/3 to 1/2 what they charge. he will even usps small things to save on costs for you. the only thing is that they do not have a website set up with a shopping cart, etc. but if you email him at jon.horton@hornytoadhd.com, he'll do you right.
i do however, wish the folks at newcastle the best of luck....
