I have the same issue on my 2013 RK, some times it goes easy other times I can hunt for it for about 5 min's. I just turn it off and then put it in nuetral. I do see my clutch has some play, but I was wondering if I should wait for the 1000k to have the shop adjust it.
When did the 2013 RK come out? What color is yours?
if still having trouble then look at clutch adjustment and /or primary chain adjustment ( which is now "automatic")
since it is new have the dealer look at the adjustments for you
fluids do not offer magic solutions

Mike - you were absolutely correct. It was a clutch adjustment (adjusted it myself now). Did a nice long run yesterday and no issue finding neutral whatsoever.
Funny thing is the bike came from the dealership new with the clutch not adjusted properly. I don't think they do squat on prep.
If clutch adjustement is new to you, be aware that clutch action changes with temp.
if you didn't do it warm you may have to re-do.
but that's ok, you know how to do it so it only takes a few minutes.
make sure that jam nut is tight.
dealer prep varies.
sad to say that dealers being more corporate are hiring based on wages not skills experience.
My fave LA shop was always Bartels- in the early 90's they stocked everything, knew what fit what and could fix anything, welcoming customers into the workshop.
they still stocked parts for pan and shovels
Yes, they changed much when moving to the current superstore location, but many of the staff remained.
I'd suggest that very few dealers work to earn customer's affinity- downward spiral
Couldn't find neutral on my 2011 SG with the 103. I wasn't waiting for things to "break in". It isn't an oil related solution. Adjust the clutch and find neutral every time. It's that easy. I did the adjustment after the first few hundred miles after asking the same questions the OP did. I still have all the stock oils in it at 800 miles.
