Default I keep hitting neutral when shifting from 1st to 2nd

I am not sure what the deal is here, but I have recently been hitting neutral when shifting from 1st to 2nd. I have Mobil 1 V-Twin oil in the primary. Is it time for a clutch adjustment, fluid change? Has anyone else had this issue.

I don't use Mobil 1 but rather the HD Syn3. Never had an issue. Although I only use the heel shifter and rarely the toe.

It sometimes happens on my Sporty on the toe shifter on long rides, as I get a little tired.

Shift harder!
Most folks can't find neutral when they're looking for it. Consider yourself lucky

check that your heel shifter is not contacting the floorboard pad.

this would keep the shifter from throwing the ratchet the full distance.

other than that, step on it.

if you continue to have problems than a check of the primary chain tension and clutch adjustment is in order.

Start using the heel shifter. You'll never miss second again.

When I try to go through the neighborhood quietly, that happens. Just shift harder.

come to think of it, I do have my rear shifter leveled out a bit, I might try removing it and installing a tooth higher on the spline, I might be hitting the floor board. I might also be ready for a clutch cable adjustment. I installed new bars in January and have not readjusted the cable yet.
