STLbagger what kind of bars are u running on ur 2010 street glide??? i have a 2010 street glide too with thunderheader,looking at doing some apes.Maybe 12" YAFFE classic apes.....Thunderheader all the way!!!!!!!!!

For $42 ....you could wrap it in black header wrap and spray it with 2k degree hi temp silicone paint.....looks great and last quite a while without a touch up.
No need for heat shields and it keeps the exhaust gasses hotter and actually helps performance....
I wrap almost every pipe I get ....no more burnt rubber from my boots...

yeah they are the 14" Yaffe Classics. My bike is on the lift right now. Just powdercoated a bunch of parts, did my lowers, inner fairing, colored gauges, so when she is put back together ill post some pics with the bars in them
