Would like some advice. I'm installing a SE A/C and some true duals, V&H Big Shots i believe. I was wondering which ECM tuner i should go with. I do not plan on doing other performance tuning to the bike besides the pipes and intake. It is on an 07 RK Classic. Also,t he Big Shots have the O2 ports, should i leave the sensors in or eliminate them?

If I was you, I would go with the PCIIIusb. It will come with the o2 sensor eliminators, so you can install a map and get rid of the lean, overheating stock condition.
Both are good, I would try the search tab. About 50% will tell you to go with the PC3, the other half will tell you to go with the SERT. I went with the SERT based on my own research, advise from friends and tuners. I dont think you will disappointed in either one.

The SERT takes someone who really knows his business to tune it - The PC III is much friendlier to tune. Either will do the job - find out what your mechanic prefers.

The best mechanics are lousy computer tuners, the best computer tuners are lousy mechanics, what a delema....
I have been seeing around N M the tuners have learned how much better the sert is to tune , There are so many more variables with the sert.If your bike requires the fine tuning like my RG .Nothing worse then rideing and having the PC crash and pulling over to disarm it.

There are several threads on this topic. To me it boils down to two questions... 1) who is doing the tune??? 2) which device dothey perfer to use???
I have the seRT. with my laptop, I can do anything to my bike that can be done w/ PCIII and then some
and the seRT doesn't have to stay piggybacked on my ECM.

Is the PC crashing something that happens a lot? I was wondering how many, with the PCIII, this has happened to?
