I just walked into some money and now i'm looking into tuners. I'm looking at the t-max or the pc-v. Any input would be helpful, thanks...
I have about 2500.00 to spend
get any, I went with Power Vision, but may have went way of autotune if I knew then how many changes I planned on making.
Anyone running the Revolution Performance auto tune on a pre-'06 open loop ECM bike?
I'm totally confused how they say 2005 and up utilizes 02 sensors when that didn't happen until '06.
Looks like it uses the WEGO IIID from Daytona twin tech with wideband O2 sensors and one sends the ECU to them and they program it with the build information you give them. So the earlier bike's without O2 sensors one would need to drill and weld on bung's for O2 sensors.
Cool approach, limited information though. Wonder if they change it from MAP based to Alpha N for fueling. Thinking they stayed MAP based for fuel and timing though. Really looks like they worked with Daytona Twin Tech on the system and the TCFI unit from them is very good. LastI checked DTT TCFI units are not compatable with FBW or the newer 2012 new management system. So this Revolution system would be a good ticket choice and the rave reviews mentioned here support that thought.
