I ride in parades and a lot of PGR missions and wanted a nice pair of flag mounts/flags for my new (last Oct.) 2011 Electra Glide Classic. I think I saw these in a post on this forum. They are Pro-Pad brand. They make the mini-beast air horn and other stuff. I checked 'em out and found flag mounts specially designed for air wing tour pak racks. They mount on the vertical supports on the rear of the rack. The mounts stay on the tour pak rack all the time. The beauty of this style is that you can load your rack with no flag mount interference because it's under the rack. When you want to put on the flags, put them in the flag holder and tighten set screw. Easy on easy off.
While I'm bragging, I also had the Boom! fairing speakers installed along with air wing saddlebag lid rails w/light kit. Pic's aren't all that good, but you get the idea.
When I get done puttin' chrome on thing it'll look like a '58 Buick Limited:+)
Another nice feature of this flag mount is, if you want to take the flag(s) off. All you have to do is use the supplied small allen wrench and loosen the little nut. The Flag pole disappears and only the round mount stays on underneath the AirWing rack.
(It's amazing how many folks have asked me questions on what the mount was without the flag mounted,)

Yellowbird,
I'll be ready for the questions. Yup, it's slickest thing I've seen for flag mounts.
Saw the Pro Pad mounts out in Sturgis last summer and got them. Had tried others and nothing worked like these. Had the mounts that went under the antenna masts and what junk they are.
