so true. I went the dash mount anyway to get more room on my handel bars for other gagets. In june a buddy and I are riding the ALCAN to AK and up to Artic Circle. Wanted the GPS out of the way.

When are you going to be on the road to Alaska? About 20 of us are meeting in Key West on June 5 to ride the Iron Butt's Ultimate Coast to Coast - Key West to Prudhoe Bay.
We'll be on The Haul Road June 16/17. Maybe see you there!

We are actually going to try and follow you guys up the haul road. Our only hard date is the ferry out of Whittier back to WA on 18 June. We expect to get to Fairbanks around 13-14 June and use the extra 4 days to make the run up to Coldfoot and back. Good to know someone esle going that way. Will look for you.
