Better wheel bearings?

I'll be doing a wheel swap in the next couple weeks, I thought it would be an opportunity to upgrade my wheel bearings. 2012 ABS Road King.

Any recommendations?

good luck, I ended up using the OEM bearings after trying a local (Bearing Service) distributor. Seems the ABS bearings are an HD only part for now.

I tried the same thing with the same results.

If you can find a different bearing I would really like to know.

You are stuck with the factory bearing if equipped with ABS. For late models with out ABS, if your buying aftermarket wheels, I use 1" bearings and replace the axle. When Harley went to 25mm bearings the outside diameter remains the same but the width (thickness) of the bearing was reduced by 1/4 in. Therefore they do not withstand side load forces as well as the earlier bearings, ie shorter life.
