A lot of people like the 255s, but they are an EPA cam & I think Andrews 26, 48, or 54s are a better choice. Andrews is also supposed to be coming out with some 57s that are specifically designed for a stock 103, sort of a cross between the 48s & 54s. If you feel the need to stay with MOCO cams take a look at the 254Es, highly recommended by "Doc", one of the best tuners in the country.

thanx guys! I went with this package with the advice from their service manager. It looks like a nice fit for my style riding, plus with them advocating and installing, it should lessen any warranty issues

i'm sure to each his/her own, the 103 is plenty for me, i installed V&H Monster Rounds and De-Catted Head Pipes, stock air filter, nice rumble sound and enjoy the tunes...i already got a speeding ticket en route to Daytona 10 days ago...what can I say?

I just purchased a 2012 FLHTC last Wednesday. I also am having cams put in at the dealer, and going with the SE254e's... I was told that the "E" part of the number was designed for the bikes with the electronic throttle sensors the newer bikes have now. I can't quote exactly the reasoning behind it, but that's what this cam was designed for. ALSO, if you'll read up on the spec sheet in the SE catalog, it will tell you that when "the aggressive rider desires a little more top-end horsepower, in a 0-60 sprint or 1/4 mile drag race, the Se-254e-equipped model would pull ahead of an identical Model with a Se-255 cam." That's why I chose the SE254e. Plus, the service manager of the #3 rated service dept out of 637 stores (H-D) recommended it. JMHO here. (just for the cam part anyway)
