Intermitten Break lights???
I have an 04 Road King, and she is my baby. Lately I have been having an issue that I cannot resolve. I will crank her and Ill have break lights. I will be riding a short while later and i wont have them any longer. The tail lamp is always on, but when I break there is no break light. I have checked the connections, traced the wiring harness as best I could from the tail lamp to the fuse box. I have checked the switches and even taken it to a dealership and explained the situation. Pulled up with no breaklights and they returned it to me with no corrective actions taken or suggestions. Does anyone out there have any ideas??? its perfect riding weather and I can't go!!!

check the switches, the front switch is sometimes broken in a bar swap.
check the wiring inside the fender, it can be chewed up by a lowered bike bottoming out, or a blown tire flailing around inside the fender
check the bulb itself
check the bulb socket is clean and making good contact on the run and brake studs and the ground through the mount
If you have a manual ( hint) the wiring diagrams are in there and you can trace it down.
