I keep blowing headlight fuse... Grrr
My 2007 Ultra blew the right spot bulb the other day so I replaced it, rode 60 miles then when I got her out of the garage to ride to work at 5:30 am I had no lights, head or spots... Came home checked
the 15 amp headlamp fuse had blown, changed it turned on lights everything was fine. Got up same as before rolled it out and as soon as it started the lights went out.. You think the problem may lie with the right hand spot since it had blown earlier??? I hate electrical problems...

Really need wiring diagram,see whats downstream of fuse.You can look for obvious problems.chafed/loose wires,cobbed wire splices/repairs.Corroded bulb socket(never pressure wash).nothing obvious ?You're gonna need a meter and patience.usually just looking things over you will find something.Sounds like a pretty direct short to ground.Hard to trouble shoot @ distance.But doesn't sound intermittant- somewhat easier to find.

I saw this exact problem recently. Turned out to be the wire that goes to the front fender tip light. The retaining clip inside the fender came off, and the wire insulation was chafed, causing it to short on the fender right where it passes thru.
Both the head lights and tail lights were affected. Brake lights were ok, and signals too.
