What gets to me is the metric seems to have all the power but have you tried to find out how there dino runs are. Love the harley and there up grades. I think my bike will clean house on most of the victory and stock metric bikes by the way most are stock, when they want a up grade they buy the next year model just what I have experanced.
As I stated I didn't out run the V-Max, and it could have been rider error I know there fast, The V-Max was a 94 model so I'm not sure what shape it was in.
As for the Warrior it was an 06 model, it thought earlier post it was an 07 model. The rider of the Warrior was here Wednesday for me to help him with some mods (I don't claim to know anything about a Yamaha) we installed a big air breather kit, removed all the air box system, somekinda relocation plate for valves and coils, installed some kinda super duper coils, removed a smog box and blocked off some kinda pipes at the inside of the cylinders, changed his pipes to Vance and Hines pro-pipe 2/1, hooked up the digital ground on the power commander, down loaded a map a friend of his with the same combo had custom mapped. This took all day so we didn't ride until Yesterday, Thursday, and yes I still smoked his ***, through the gears, from a 60mph roll on, and at top end.
I offered anyone in the area to come by and hear it from the horses mouth or ride with us on the rematch, I would love to have a Warrior title for title run, then I could sell the piece of Sh** and buy some more good stuff for my HD

It is possible that harleypaw is an outstanding rider and those boys skill levels areway below his. That could easily make the difference. My son has a stage 1 1996 softail custom, but has been racing bikes forever. There arent many bikes or riders that can match him for the first eighth mile, just because of the way he handles the throttle and gears. If you go up against a far superior rider, chances are you loose!!Also calling a grown man a liar is way over the top. You need to check yourself[sm=badidea.gif]
The Warrior with the mods you helped with, would put out about 84 hp and maybe around 110 torque. Only about a 10hp increase from stock around 75hp and 108 torque.
The stock Warrior is not impressive.
Would you run one with a Turbo? As yours is right now?
I didn't know Warrior number were that low, now I'm not as impressed as I was, just kiddin. ok maybe I've given Warrior's a little bit of a bad rap, so I'll lay off a bit.
Really didn't know their numbers were that low, he didn't run to bad for those numbers, not good enough but not to bad. The title for title comment was BS, I wouldn't run a stock Vespa title for title, the minute you think your the fastest someone will always prove you wrong.
Most metric riders are happy doing external mods to gain 10 to 15 hp/tq, I know there's some, like a lot here that don't mind putting the $$ and the hours wrenching on their scoots to put a lot of hp/tq to the ground, not just on a dyno, so if your number for a Warrior are correct and you could find one that was putting out close to my numbers he would surely walk my A** if for no other reason the rider was about 80lbs lighter, and the bike has to be 150 lbs or so lighter.
but there's one thing about it, I'm not afraid to try any of them, and I may loose more than I win, but I'll promise you one thing, I'll Da** sure brag about the ones I do win.
Turbo, huh that's not a bad idea, anybody know wher I can score one, the HD may like it.
