I wish I had spent the money building abagger myself rather than buy two bikes.
Your Turbo would run around $6k I think. They have an add in V-twin or American Iron, I cant remember which.
All of you honestly have to admit that any bike can beat any other on any given day based on a number of things from mods to driver experience. I don't blame Harlepaw on feeling good on winning his races. I feel good when my stock Warrior beats a stock Harley. Except for a VROD that will take me at mid to top end. I also feel good when I get on my 06 Road Glide, turn on the tunes, set the cruise at 75 and sit back and relax for the ride. That's why I bought it. Different bikes for different uses. They both are great bikes in their own right. It's to bad more of you don't adhere to the idea that it doesn't matter what a brother or sister rides. At least they ride. Instead of bashing somebody just to make yourself feel good. Probably upset a few with that and if so I am sorry. Just my humble 2 cents worth. Happy New Year to you all no matter what you ride .[sm=smiley16.gif]
i dont call BS on many things (since just about everything can be verified now-a-days) and having owned a Warrior that was modded- i believe it. HOWEVER, with the Warrior and V-Max's engines, and seeing the dyno chart that was posted- i think that this story may have been a bit exaggerated.
I would like to know some specs on the metric bikes. Just looking through american Iron . There is a artical how good the victory is with no spec sheet, got to love the HD.
Well... I have spanked 4 Warriors, a couple VTX 1800s and a V-rod with my 98" FXD - but never run a V-MAx. I have to think a V-Max properly ridden would be showing me taillights. JMHO and limited, but real-workd experience.
I've got a Big Dog Ridgeback with a modded S&S 117" that dynos 122 h.p and 124 tq that has easily outrun a Warrior and VTX1800s. A 1983 Honda V65 outran me pretty easily though,I wouldnt have a chance with a V-Max..

Bryan, It sounds like you've got one bad *** bagger! Must be a blast to ride. I'm in the process now of putting a 95" kit and better cams in my Standard. Gotta have power!![sm=gears.gif]
