Anybody made or customized a bracket to lay down the plate on an EG?
I've got a couple of ideas and want to see other ideas.
80 degs in Michigan yesterday, unbelievable.
I have an '11 Ultra Limited, I made my tour pack detachable. I bought the lay down bracket for a Streetglide and drilled and tapped the turn signal bracket for 1/4-20 and bolted it on. Use a laydown lens with a lower clear opening and you're good to go.

Thx, I have the same setup on my limited.
That streetglide bracket, is it a harley part?
I didn't want to drill any holes in the fender and didn't want the heavy chrome aftermarket piece. Mine is a HD part #, if I recall it's from a Streetglide.
This is a softbrake bracket but it is not the most solid thing out there. I just put it on the other day and just got the J&P lens that has the plate window facining down.
