Was looking at some old pictures of the Glide and was noticing how bad the lower front forks are looking these days and was wondering if anyone knew of a product that will get them looking good again.
These are the stock front forks not the chromed ones. I know chroming them is a option, but an options that's a little out of my grasp right now.
Mine looked so bad I bought new take offs on this forum and replaced them. They were $50 shipped and you don't see them that low very often. Usually $50 + shipping. The new ones were very low miles and look nice inside and out. i will polish up the old set and swap them back if these get ugly. They have a clear coat (probably powder) from the MOCO that gets damaged by rocks, bugs and brake dust.
