Default Inside of lower legs sandblasted (outside powder-coated) !!
Hi Folks,

The guy who powder-coated the lower legs of my fork sandblasted the inside of the tubes as well ! (he didn't powder-coat it...)

Is this something I've got to take care of or is it ok like that?

Why would he sandblast inside the tubes? Tubes or lower legs?
Makes no sense to me.

Inside of the lower legs, and I agree, it doesn't make sens at all, but he did it !

A lot of ****** pretending to be pros out there !!

Wash them out with diesel
carb cleaner after you get all of the blasting medium out.
Lower legs would come back like that after being chromed at Brown's in Paduca Ky

It's from the process itself, not that they medium blasted the inside

Hmmm make certain their is no media left in there, will need a thorough cleaning. Not sure what else to say about that.

Are you sure he blasted the insides or just got overspray inside them? Either way, you're gonna need to make sure they are flushed out very well...

just called my indy to tell him it was just sand left in there, he's answer was "it feels like sandpaper in there, that M*@# F@#" sanded it reel good !"
