Shaving lower legs...
OK so I am building a bike and have most of the knowledge to do this....what do you guys suggest on how to shave the lower legs of a bike at home....no I don't have a machine shop....just a band saw, grinders, files and sandpaper? Any ideas? John

if you're wanting to shave your lower legs, hey man, we're not here to judge, but perhaps a lady bic? 'just joking. but are you trying to remove the fender lugs and or caliper lugs or what? beware grinding too agressivly because there is oil and air in there. too much heat generated could cause problems. i'm assuming you are going to remove the fork tubes from the cast aluminum lowers first???
