I was planning on buying my new Road King Classic come spring time, but on my way back into town after Xmas break I stopped by one of my local dealers. Went in just to look around at what colors they had in stock. I originally wanted a Vivid Black Classic or maybe a Black Cherry one. Well the only black one they had was already reserved by a customer so I asked them what else they had in theirinventory. They had a Black Cherry Pearl / Pewter Pearl onein one of theirstorage bins. It was up high so I couldn't really see it. I talked to the ownerof the dealership and he told me that they could take itdown for me to look at it. I was like well..... I'm not sure ifI'm going to buy tonight......but he insisted so I went ahead and let him get itdown.Me and the wifey walked back to see it and theminute the door opened and my eyes took in that color combination I realized that I had to have her. Took a few minutes and Ihad the paperwork done and now own that sweet bike. It gets delivered to me tomorrow between 11 and 11:30 am.... I'm not sureIf I'll be able to sleep tonight!!!! I've already looked through andmarked up a bunch of pages in the 2007 accessory book (can they make any more parts for our harleys??). It is only going to be 43 degrees here tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that I'll take her out.
Sorry for the long post, but I'm pretty excitedright now.

Congrats, ride her home, 43 isnt that bad I ride in it all the time.
Thanks.
I'm usually good until it gets down below 35, but lately I've been getting kind of wimpy! I'll let them bring her to me and then I'll get in somemiles tomorrow. I'm really looking foreward toriding this thing this year!
But seriously... congrats! But be forewarned- all you did was buy the canvas upon which you will express yourself in the form of endless amounts of paint, chrome, and performance upgrades.
The P&A catalogs should be standard issue with every new purchase. As for ideas on what and when, this forum is full of ideas (and opinions)... all you gotta do is ask... (except BH, all he'lldo is tellyou to go clampless).
