I ordered mine yesterday. After talking with Howard we decided that I needed the #6 but without the reservoir. My most important issue was to not hurt my wife's back. I can stand the rough ride but if Momma ain't happy......well, you know.
I ordered mine yesterday too from Howard. I decided what the heck I'm going with the reservoir. How did you pay him? I talked to him on the phone did the online thing and am still waiting ?

He sent me an invoice and I sent him a cashier's check. Parts weren't going to be in for a few days and I'm not in a huge hurry. I think he said they would be heading to me on the 15th.
Came out to a pool of shock oil under my tire and ruined (brand new - dammit) Lyndall pads. My rear shock on the FLTRU died. I will be calling Howad on Monday morning. I have a 38" inseam and may talk to him about going up a bit in length to aid ground clearance.

I ordered a set of 6's and never could get to like them. I sent them back to Howard and he took the reservoirs off at my request and revalved them. Super fast turn around too. I just got them back Thursday and have not been able to try them out yet. I sure hope I like them

Between Howard and the many established owners on here we should be able to sort out pretty well anything! Including those #6, I would have thought......
Now that I have ordered my #6 Ohlins from Howard for my Ultra I am wondering if any of you have tried Ohlins new FKC 101's on the front end? Not sure what they cost as of yet. I'm pretty geeked about getting the #6 shocks on that I'm all ready thinking about the front end.
I'm sure they will be better than anything else for 41mm forks , I opted for the ultimate and installed on my 2011 Howard's triple trees , 2014 49mm forks and Ohlins 30mm fork cartridges that are fully adjustable
I noticed the other day that FuelMoto is selling Ohlins too. Anyone buy their shocks from them, and if so, how was the support as far as getting them 'fit' to you, and setup? Thanks.
