That guy has ***** of steel!
If that happened to me, I'd call it a day and go have a shot and a beer!
Threre would be NO WAY I would recreate it over and over and over!

I've experienced the low speed, front end wobble but this rear end thing is new to me. I hope it never happens to me. I'd need a new seat and underwear!
It almost looks like the rear tire is sliding out from underneath him.
I'm sure proper tire inflation plays a roll it this but I wonder if better tire would help too?
But im not goin there, that's been beaten to death.

09's have a problem withe weave/wobble maybe not the problems as earlier models but still a problem. I was in a long right hand sweeper the other day and my bike started to weave: not the first time it's done it and I don't freak, I slightly let off the gas, no brakes, don't shut it down, go with it, slowly bring it under control at least thats what works for me. At the time I was accelerating as hard as my bike would go and I was pushing almost 100 so I guess I was reaching the limits of the bike but I was not pitched over hard at all. My bud was trailing behind me and he said he saw it and slowed down rather than experince it himself. I also noticed that I have more issues as my mileage gets higher or I might be more comfortable and I'm pushing the bike harder. Some time this year I'm going to have to try stiffing up the frame/swingarm/engine mounts some thing. I have recently changed the fork oil to heavier weight and that has improved the handling of the bike. I know just slow down but I ride the way I like so thats not going to change much except for weather/traffic conditions.

When someone finds the magic cure I'm going to buy it.

I had creating new threads b4 doing searches, but this is one of very few that actually addresses my issue. So after I double check some things I'll start a thread if the problem persists.

I have wobble but it is an '09. Started noticing it a few months ago when on a turn I take daily I got a little wobble. My first thought was tires. So a I checked the air, added some air, and temporarily stopped noticing it. May only be cuz traffic was slowing me down a little though.
I will check the air in my rear shocks as I've been meaning to do that anyway.
I will check the air in the tires again.
I will finish making my Billy Bob lift to get my front tire off the ground to check the head bearings.
Some have said wheel bearings. How do I test that? Will the manual tell me? Is it a matter of manually spinning the wheel to see how long it spins or if the tire looks straight while it is spinning?

Anyway, after I check some things I'll likely start a thread. Sure wish this wasn't happening b4 a big trip down the BRP to the Dragon. I don't take my vehicles to shops and even if I did likely couldn't get an appointment b4 leaving.

Certainly no expert by any means.....have a 10 UC, and have not experienced that in a turn. But looking at the video several times, it almost apears that the sidewall on the rear tire is buckling under. Now is it the tire, or the load from the suspension that causes that. Is it one brand of tire that most have problems with, or just that year model of bike.

My experince is that in tight twisty turns I've had no wobble/weave problems and I don't think you will have a problem at the Dragon. High speed sweepers is where I have had the bike do a wobble/weave and that seems to be where most have it. Going to a shop will work if there is a obvious problem; but when I worked in a dealership and we had a guy telling us about a handling problem at high speed, we were not going to take the customers bike and do 100 mph run so we could figure it out. Speed shops on the other hand might have more experince and have some good ideas. IMHO

I've felt a "wobble" couple of times going WAY too fast in a big sweeper. I however didn't feel it in the rear though. It felt more like my front wheel was weaving a bit. I attributed it to leaning on the bars too much (PYO apes). Suspension reacting causing ME to move the bars. It was in no way like the video above however. That definitely would scare the bejesus out of me.
