Just had the V&H dresser duals installed along with 4" Rineharts, Fuel Moto powervision and FM air cleaner. All i can say is wow what a difference in power and sound!!! I was running just the rinos for a while with no stage one and she didn't have that throaty growl I was after so the dresser duals and other upgrades have made me very happy and a little poorer. lol
What is the decibels on that system? I am looking at the exact same setup but do not want it too loud for the misses. As the saying goes "If Mama ain't happy, no one is happy"....
I use an APP on my iphone to get a non scientific db reading. Currently with stock cat and Rinehart 4" it maxes at 85db if I can remember correctly...

I am not sure about what decibels they are but they are definetly louder especially when twisting the throttle. Their not crazy loud but Im sure I can set off car alarms if I rap it quick
. Lol
Wait till you do the cams!!
It'll sound even more snarly then...
Exactly!!!
Plus the performance makes mine easier to tour with,,,, 6th gear is actually usable, and on the slab or open road, that is important to getting out of the way of mindless cages playing bumpercars with each other dodging semi's attempts to get good milage, or passing with 18 wheels with empty trailers passing the slow 18 wheelers getting slowed by heavy loads...
LOTS of choices, I went for the most torque I could find, and it pulls!!!!
I love my sound too! Power Duals and High Output Mufflers!! V&H
made both.
I have dresser duals and twin slash rounds, and they were perfect until I installed the SE255's. They sound great, just much louder with the SE255's.
Maybe it's just the tone of the twin slash's more than the loudness. They are very sharp sounding. Sounds really good just a little tough on my ears. The wife loves them, she says they "sound tough". LOL
I have a set of 4" Rineharts on order, will be here Monday. I am hoping they will be a little deeper and mellow it out a little, but still be a little loud.
I like loud to a point, but the SE255's pushed the twin slash rounds a little over the top for me. They are fine for short hops but just get on my nerves after a couple hours.
I hope I made the right choice. Pretty expensive experiment if it fails. LOL
I just ordered the V&H classic duals and the Thundermax tuner. I already have the V&H ovals and the K&N filter setup. I'm thinking the cat removal and the ecu swap are going to give me just a bit more of a rumble and a couple of more HP.
