Hi I am currently running a stock exhaust with the cat taken out and a carriage works slip on muffler, with arlen ness stage 1 air cleaner and power commander V. It sounds good, just not as loud as I would like. Any advice for something that truly lights up when you get on it and has a mean rumble on idle. I have of course heard of the rineharts but those don't seem to loud and I'm not sure which vance and hines work the best for mine. All advice would be appreciated.
Also with my current setup what would be your next recommended mod to get some more power out of it?

Pick out a cam that fits your riding style. My cam purchase was the best thing I did for my bike outside the stage 1. Remember LOUD does not = Performance.
I'm running the Bub 7 head pipes and slip on's. They aren't as deep as the Rineharts but are louder. I think they have a real nice balance of sound without having to upgrade your speakers to hear them. Check youtube for sound clips for different exhaust's.
And I'll check out the Cary faas racing as well as the bub 7. I like the thunder header just looking for a slightly less expensive alternative. Also do most here recommend 2 into 1 or 2 into 2 and why?
And what do you mean by a cam that "fits my riding style" is there one impaticular that most here recommend?
"riding style" means where you want the most power...most touring folks want the power at the bottom end of the "revs" where as folks that ride lighter bikes oftenly want the big power in the higher rpm range....that said ...I went with screamin eagle 255's (se-255) for several reasons, one they are pretty cheap, 2. they can be installed with the original push rods (no adjustable push rods to mess up or adjust)...BUT don't let me sway you....in the hd parts book it gives you a good explanation of the uses for different cams they sell...but you don't need to use hd cams ...there a several other cam companies out there Woods comes to mind http://www.woodcarbs.com/cams.htm...the tw-555 and tw-777 are good bolt in cams (don't need any other modifications to make them work well)...do a search on the web there are several different companies that make cams...
