I've been having a hard time finding side deflectors that will work with the lowers. '13 Ultra classic. Went to J@P (nice living close by) and they did not have anything that would fit. I put the side fork deflectors on my Heritage and it made a huge difference, just need to find something that will work will the Ultra now...

Got my JES fork deflectors today. Quality and finish look really good. I only got to take a quick trip around the block but could tell that they did exactly what I want them to do. My helment no longer shook and "buffetted" above 60mph and my sunglasses stayed put. Only concern is that when I turn the bars to full lock they just kiss the crash bar. Dont think it will be an issue as that rarely happens anyway.

Check and make sure you have them mounted on the right sides of the bike. They shouldn't hit the crash bars at all. Took me a little to figure it out myself.

Are the JES deflectors supposed to install on top of the turn signal/passing lamp assembly or under?

Thanks

I just got chrome the J&P deflectors, which look pretty much the same as the HD. Look good on my RKC. I would think that heat is mostly a problem when stopped or going very slow, so the deflectors would have little or no effect. Don't think it's going to be an issue.

I received my wind deflectors from JES today, took just a matter of minutes to install them. I went out on the Interstate, took a short 60 mile ride. WOW! What a difference the deflectors made, no more wind coming under the front fairing and over the tank.

+1. I've had mine for 1 year now and it's one of the best upgrades I've done to my bike. I tried lots of gizmos before and not a single one worked as good as the JES fork deflectors.
I can now hit 80-90mph (8" recurve windshield) and my cap stays on my head, which was not the case before.
