Bought my first bike with a windshield in '94 (roadking) thinking I'd never put it on. I never took it off! Now I even got a windshield on my supermoto???

I have to confess to being a windshield guy. For me the windshield stretches the riding season by a full month on each end. I am out enjoying my bike and sometimes never see another bike on the road. I guess that says something.

took mine off friday to ride to work... big mistake! i've had it on for the winter months and i've got to tell you i'm pretty sure its not coming off this year.. it destroys the look of the bike IMO but who cares i didn't buy my bike to please others

A windshield won't hurt the looks of that beautiful bike one bit. It'll take a lot more than that.

I put a handmade tombstone shield on my softail way back when. If I remember right, it was mounted directly to my buckhorns and was only like 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide. It wasn't much of a shield but at that point, I was hooked.

I cross a bridge every day and the winds are terrible. I tried to ride without one one day and didn't think I was going to be able to make it. Speed limit is 65 mph but I had to slow down to 50. Back hurt, neck hurt, hands hurt and head hurt. Just the other day I rode past a guy on what looked like some sort of Dyna. He was going about 45 or 50, I was at 70. Needless to say, I don't go without a windshield on the freeway unless it's a short distance.

A lot of it depends on where you live and the riding conditions... I usually ride without it, but sometimes I'll go out on some country roads in the evening... farm fields in evening = a **** ton of bugs.
