Yeah, I noticed that. Instead of my shirt / jacket being blown directly back, the wind curls around the windshield causing the front of my wear to flop around annoyingly in the breeze.
On the other hand, the brief moment I was able to exceed 65 mph (in a city-limit 45 mph speed limit... I'll get out of town one of these days) I did indeed find less force against my chest, which can bring me fatigue after a spell.
I'll say it again, thank goodness this thing is detachable. I think it'll be stored away 95% of the time.
I am 58 and still love going without the WS. 80% of my miles are without. When it's cold or raining it is nice to have though. Still think of it as a wimpshield.

Hey, you get older and your ears get sensitive and you want more comfort on those long trips we like to take. Oh you still get hit in the face with **** occasionally but not that often.
