I have the Nelson-Rigg too. It costs less than half what the HD cover costs and the material is so tough that I just punched two holes for the antennas and they haven't frayed or enlarged at all. Also comes with its own pouch.
I have the EZ Touring Traveler A half cover - they even made me a custom two-tone blue over black cover to match my '10 Limited, for no extra charge! http://www.eztouring.com/traveller.htm
Thanks for the tips. I ended up ordering the cycle shade version for just covering the seats. That looks perfect and quick to put on. I have a leather seat and it takes a long time to dry! This should keep it dry and help make the seat last longer.
I had the HD Oasis "day cover" and really liked it. Very small, and perfect for what it's intended for - a nice cover to put over the bike to protect it from sun and wandering eyes. It didn't fit very well on my Road Glide, but then, it was not spec'd for it. Also, it's not waterproof. Would have been a perfect fit on my Ultra Classic though.
Since then, I have gone with the Nelson Riggs and am pleased with it. Waterproof, nice "3/4" size cover for overnight in parking lots, and packs smaller than a football. Here it is on the same Road Glide, and it works even better on my Ultra Classic.
