Default loose handlebars on a ultra

My bars are getting loose on my 05 ultra classic. can anybody let me know how big of a job it is to tighten them.

Pull outer fairing, switch cap, radio and torque riser clamp bolts!

Are the handle bars loose in clamp or are the bushings bad so depending on what it actually is would make the job longer more to remove to get to bushing bolts bottom of top triple tree get a service manual it is your best friend

I think it's just a loose clamp. I can get the ignition switch off I just can't get the cover below it off, an older post says that if I can get the back cover off I might be able to tighten the back 2 hex screws and that might do the trick.

That is the way I adjust my bars so I don't see why you couldn't tighten them that way. After you have the ignition switch off you unscrew the nut (#3) on the stem and unscrew one T27 on each side of the fairing cap. It just lifts off, although I just move it out of the way without disconnecting the wiring.
