Guys, I am doing a Stage 1 upgrade this weekend on my Limited. Going with V+H Power duals, Monster Ovals and a PowerVision flash from Fuel Moto, Quick question. Do I need a special socket to remove and reinstall the O2 sensors? Thanks
Easier to take the pipes out then remove the sensor.
If the sensor is really cranked in, you may screw up the threads taking them out.
I found the threads on the sensor to be a little soft and easy to muck up.
New ones are about $45 at the dealer. (Don't ask how I know)
Careful not to get any penetrating oil on the sensor tip. (They don't recommend using anything)
If the bike is fairly new, they should come right out just using the wrench.

Just make sure and NOT do what I did! I got in a hurry and did not mark what O2 sensor was front or back. I am putting the new pipes ( Power Duals) and Power Vision on today and I guess I will have to trace down the connector to make sure I have the right sensor in the right port!
