I'm 5'10 and also just put wild 1's on my bike 14" and they are absolutely perfect. My recommendation for you would be 16's if those are your two options. The only regrets I usually hear from folks is that they wish they would have gone taller. They are great bars and are probably the single best upgrade I've done to the bike. Have to update my profile pic as they still show the 10 inch mini apes I had on. Good luck!

I'm 6'3" and my 2011 RKC has 16" apes and its pretty comfy. I wouldn't be upset if they were 18" though, but it doesn't bug me enough to do anything about it.

I was originally looking at installing 14" apes, so yes, you really do wish you had gone taller than you originally thought.

I'm only 6' with 33" arms and have 16"s on my RK, corbin solo + backrest. I sometimes wish they were 14"s but with you being taller + taller seat I think the 16"s are for you.

Those of you with 16" on newer bikes, what size wire extensions/cables did you go with?

I'm 5'8" with a 28" inseam. I had 12.5" but switched to 14". They are just below my shoulders and I tend to slouch a lil bit. I would probably go with 16's if I were as tall as you.

p.s. 12.5's are pictured in my sig pic

12 1/2 is as low as u want to go. At 6'2" 14 apes would be adequate but withba 35" reach 16" s won't hurt ya. I am 5'10" with a 30 inseam and the 12.5 s are great. It had Beach bars which were just plain silly. I tried the Heritage bars and still no cigar. I went ape and could not be happier.

I went with 16s, love them. What a difference they make. You should have no problems with them being below shoulder. I am 5'11" and they are fine. You can roll them back a little if you need. Best MOD I made.

I went with the 16" Hill country customs kit for $899.95 plus $40 for shipping. Everything is chromed out with stainless steel braided cables. It cost me a total of $1,400 for the bars and install including buying grips. If I would have bought everything from the stealership it would have cost $2,350 installed. I could have went with 18" apes though. I'm 6'1" by the way. The HCC Ape Kit comes prewired with controls and levers on. It includes the cables as well.
