I'm trying to clean up the back end of my bike & i was wondering if anyone knows about a mounting system that comes off the bottom of the rear fender to hold up mufflers on a 1989 FLHS true dual exhaust instead of using the rail under the saddlebags?
I removed my saddle bags & I'm modifying the bike today to remove the front & rear crash bars. Slim her down a bit but I hope im explaining this well enough. I have chrome rails that run down the each side of the fender with a bracket that goes from that rail to the rail above the exhaust which is under the saddlebags. So I want to eliminate the rail for the bags & just use the one on the fender to hold the muffler up
