Just put some on my RK on the 25th of Dec. Look a lot better then the head bolts just sticking out there. Took about 15 min to install and I was going slow. Good buy, Looks good.
Got some myself, I think they really complete that side of the motor. As far as the heat, gimme a break, people worry about goofy **** too much and your right rdam they are cosmetic, so is the chrome windshield trim on your scoot
Do you remove them toaccess your spark plugs? I was thinking about doing a plug check a few days ago and thought I would have to pull the covers off, so I never got around to it.

..of course it'scosmetic - it's for a HD silly. Nice - page 463 - #43859-00in the P&A bible. On my list as well. Note the chrome headbolt bridge - #43858-00 is a no no for those with lower fairings.

No you don't have to remove the covers to get to the sparkplugs. Just pull the sparkplug wire and you can get the plugs right out easily.
